Yes, it finally happened. We spent December in the US, mostly in Austin at Johan’s mum. It was great to spend so much time with my family there. And they all made me feel, that i was really part of the family. We did some sightseeing, but my favourite place in Texas is my mother’s in law home anyway. Although close second would be Huntington, the most beautiful botanical garden in LA.

I was amazed by all the plants and birds i haven’t seen before. Everything’s so exotic there.
In LA we visited very dear friends, and we spent with them a lot of time in Huntington. I’ve seen a hummingbird for the first time in my life! They are very quick and hard to photograph.
